"The Source of Love" is a slice of life drama with a redemptive theme. Ming is the stern Chinese language teacher to whom most of the residents of Cheung Chau owe their proficiency in speaking and writing. His dignified career, hardworking son, university enrolled daughter and jovial wife give the impression of a very contented man. Though all looks well on the surface, we see a family in crisis.
